Daniel Craig - From James Bond to Red Rackham !
From good guy to bad guy! Daniel Craig, born on 2 March 1968 in Chester, England, is to play villainous pirate Red Rackham in The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn.
The Daniel Craig? Yes that's right, the very same Daniel Craig, better known as James Bond (Casino Royale 2006, Quantum of Solace 2008 - and in the 23rd Bond film due to hit the big screen in 2010). From his acting debut in 1992, Daniel Craig took on an impressive series of secondary roles, before becoming an international star in cinemas and on television.
He has already worked with Steven Spielberg in Munich (2005) and is no stranger to the world of comic books, as he was a cast member in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001).
Since 14 October 2005, he has been working undercover as 007, licensed to kill. He is the 6th actor to play James Bond, following in the footsteps of Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan.
He is also a successful theatre actor.
